Supporting  education and our community is part of our mission here at the Indianapolis Zoo. Because educational funding is extremely tight in the current economy, we have discounted our prices to help schools take advantage of our programs. 

PLEASE NOTE:  We currently offer programming in the months of September, October, and November of 2010 and January, February, and March of 2011. Please call Allison at 317-630-2044 for scheduling! 

Our ZooMobile programs are designed for preschool and elementary schools and our primary mission is to deliver programs that are educational and meaningful for the students. We’ve accomplished this in a couple of ways. First, we’ve cut our group sizes down to ensure that all students get a hands-on experience with animals, and we’ve also incorporated lots of fun children’s literature into the programs. We’re sure you’ll find some of your students’ favorites!

The Indianapolis Zoo is here to connect animals, plants and people. If you can't bring your group to the Zoo, then we can bring the Zoo to you! Since 1995, the Zoo has used the ZooMobile as the way of getting the Zoo's message of animal awareness and conservation out into the community, including Indianapolis and much of Central Indiana. ZooMobile programs provide an exciting opportunity for people to get an up close and personal experience with live animals. A ZooMobile program is a great tool for educating while entertaining. It is literally, "Nature. Animals. Educaion. Live from the Indianapolis Zoo." All of our programs are presented by specially trained staff, and we utilize a diverse group of animals.
