Dining Options at the Indianapolis Zoo
 The Indianapolis Zoo and White River Gardens feature a variety of dining opportunities for the whole family. The Zoo’s exclusive caterer, Centerplate, manages all of the food operations at the Indianapolis Zoo. For the safety of the animals, the Zoo does not provide straws or soft drink lids. Visa, MasterCard and Discover Card are accepted at almost all the food locations with the exception of some food carts on grounds.
Although visitors are not permitted to bring food into the Zoo, they may enjoy their picnics at one of the tables located just outside the admission gates. To get back into the Zoo after lunch, visitors should present their receipts at the admission gates.
