HilbertConservatory-KelliAgnewHilbert Conservatory

The Hilbert Conservatory is the shining centerpiece of White River Gardens. Named in honor of Stephen and Tomisue Hilbert, lead donors to the project, the towering glass enclosure is the site of four seasonal shows per year. The Conservatory is 5,000 square feet of lush, tropical greenery. The 65-foot ceilings flood the Conservatory with light, and the mezzanine level provides an overview of the glorious indoor gardens below. With its gleaming shape visible in the night sky, the Conservatory is an architectural complement to the downtown skyline. Inside the Conservatory, look for the exotic palm trees and flowering plantscapes throughout a warm tropical environment. The center font by sculptor Dale Enochs provides the gentle sounds of flowing water. There are also small ponds with fish to liven up the atmosphere!

FishPond-KelliAgnewWe hope this beautiful space inspires you to bring the outdoors inside in your own home. For tips on how you can liven up your living spaces with some greenery, check out the Conservatory Show Handouts.
