Elephant Bathing Adventure

You will meet one of our elephants and get an opportunity to assist in scrubbing down the elephant during the 1:30pm Elephant Bathing demonstration in the Dean's Arena. Visitors will be surprised at the texture (and all the hair!) on the elephants, and getting this close will allow visitors to truly appreciate the immense size of these animals, the largest creature on land.  Cost is $35 per person. You will need to arrive for this experience at 1:00pm at the HIX Institute (formerly the Education Center).

Participants must be at least six years old. Participants six years to 13 years in age must have a paid adult participant with them during the Adventure. All participants must sign a waiver. Participants under the age of 18 years must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

Each Elephant Bathing Adventure session can accommodate a maximum of four participants. This program runs daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day at 1:30pm.
