these four easy steps to become a Volunteer:
1. Submit a Volunteer
We are currently accepting volunteer applications for
Orangutan Naturalists through Sept. 28, 2013.
2. Attend a Volunteer
Program Introduction. Please contact
our Volunteer Services Offices at
email@example.com or 317-630-2041
attending a Volunteer Program Introduction, the Volunteer Office
will contact interested candidates to schedule an interview. This allows the Volunteer Services Staff to learn as much
as possible about the person's interests, experiences, and
motivation and to assess the needs and expectations of the Zoo
at that time. General policies and legal documentation will
also be explained. Specific work assignments may be made during
the interview. Interviews generally last one hour.
4. New Volunteers
accepted into the program must attend New Volunteer Orientation
prior to their first day of volunteering. The Orientation
reviews Zoo Policies, Safety and Security Procedures. New
Volunteers become activated only after attending Orientation.
Check back in
December for new volunteer opportunities! For more information,
